Editorial and aggregation policy

This page explains how 91News chooses, orders and presents stories, and how publishers can ask us to change or remove anything.

How stories are selected

Stories are collected automatically from the public feeds of the publishers we list. We do not write, edit, rewrite or summarise the publishers’ articles, and a story appearing on 91News is not an endorsement of it or of its publisher. Stories are removed automatically after about 30 days.

How stories are ordered

Pages show the newest stories first. “Trending” lists are ranked by how many readers opened a story in the last hours, counted anonymously through our link redirect. Nobody can pay to be placed higher or lower.

How sources are chosen

We add publishers that provide a working public feed and cover news in one of our languages. Feeds are checked regularly; a source whose feed stops updating or fails is hidden until it recovers.

Accuracy and corrections

Because we show publishers’ own headlines, any error in a story is the publisher’s to correct. When a publisher changes a headline, our copy updates the next time we read their feed. If you see a technical problem with how we display a story, tell us.

Copyright and removal requests

Headlines, thumbnails and logos belong to their publishers and are used here only to point readers to the original. Publishers who want a feed or image removed, or who want a correction to how they are shown, can write to (contact email not published yet); we act on such requests promptly. Removing or disabling your RSS feed also stops us from collecting it.

Live TV

Channels shown under Live TV stream from the broadcasters’ official YouTube channels using YouTube’s embed player. A channel appears only if it permits embedding, and is marked off air when its stream is not live.
